Description:

Experience the natural and cultural history of Honey Creek!

Join us for a guided walk to the beautiful Honey Creek to learn about both the natural and cultural history of the area. This event is sponsored by the Friends of Guadalupe River State Park/Honey Creek State Natural Area. The trail is 2.5 miles long, and moderate in difficulty -- much of it is flat but there are some rocky areas, slopes, and a steep but short hill.

All ages welcome! No dogs, please.

Registration is required for this event, and spots are limited. To register, please send an email to holly.platz@tpwd.texas.gov   In your email please make sure to tell us how many people will be in your party. Spots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

We highly recommend the use of masks during park educational programs, especially when safe social distance cannot be consistently maintained
