Description:

Join us as we find out about the state insect of Texas, the monarch butterfly, and its amazing cross-country migration! Then we'll take a short walk to look for monarchs, and make your own butterfly mask to take home! All ages welcome.

No dogs, please.

Meet at the Rust House at Honey Creek State Natural Area (inside the park). No need to register, just show up!

Program involves sitting on benches, or standing on mostly level ground, and walking less than 1/2 mile round-trip on rocky and dirt trails that are mostly level but with a small slope. If there's anything we can do to help make this program more enjoyable for you, please ask, either via email or phone, or at the program.
