Description:

Would you like to know what plants and animals live in our park? There's an App for that!

Join our Education Coordinator, Mr. David on a Discovery Walk our in the park using the app iNaturalist! Participants will learn the basics of the app and how to spot and identify plants, birds, insects, and mammals in the park. What do you look for and how can you tell what it is? A scavenger hunt will help, too!

Then, use this knowledge again for the Annual City Nature Challenge, from April 26th to April 29th to document the most plant and animal species! Find more information for the challenge and how to download the app at CNC-SA.org

Please wear comfortable shoes and bring water to stay hydrated.

**For families with children over 8yo, and groups interested in native flora and fauna identification. Easy to moderate hiking. Please pre-download the iNaturalist app prior to your hike.
