Come out to Acequia Park to learn the basics of fishing at this fun, free family event!

The Fin Addict Angler Foundation is partnering with the San Antonio River Authority to bring you this fun, family-friendly day of free fishing! Learn the basics including fishing skills such as casting, tackle and bait, fishing regulations and ethics, aquatic conservation and more.

Waterside fishing will also take place with the help of TPWD Certified Angler Education Instructors.

No fishing license will be required for those fishing at the event between 9am and Noon.

Please come prepared to spend the morning in the Texas sunshine and dress appropriately in light, loose clothing; wear a hat and sunglasses, bring sunscreen and plenty of water to stay hydrated! 

Children must be accompanied by an adult - No drop-offs please.
