Join a park host or ranger to find out more about the animals that call the Hill Country home!

IMPORTANT: Reservations are required to enter the State Natural Area Friday through Monday, on holidays and/or during school breaks.

Texas Wildlife details:
Location: Day-use Picnic Area.
Time: drop by anytime between 12 noon & 2:00PM.
Distance: no hiking.

Check out a variety of skins, skulls & tracks to learn about the animals you may see; and the ones you'll only see traces of. There will not be any touching of animal artifacts for this program; attendees are asked to maintain social distancing from other visitors.

Reservations are required to enter the state natural Area Friday through Sunday, on holidays or during school breaks. You can check day pass availability online at TexasStateParks.ReserveAmerica.com. While a reservation is required for park entry, you do not need to RSVP for this program specifically.

Entrance fees: $8/adult; children 12 and under are free; no additional fees for park programs.

All programs are weather dependent -- if it rains, the Summit Trail and all elevated areas of the park are closed.
