Description:

Join a park ranger to find out more about the nocturnal animals that call the Hill Country home!

Check out a variety of skins, skulls & tracks to learn about the nocturnal animals that live in the park. Learn how these animals can survive and thrive in the park after dark and why it's important we keep the nights dark -- not just for them, but for us, too! There will not be any touching of animal artifacts for this program; attendees are asked to maintain social distancing from other visitors, as possible.

Location: Day-use Picnic Area.
Time: drop by anytime between 2:30P-3:30P.
Distance: no hiking.

IMPORTANT: Reservations are required to enter the State Natural Area Friday through Sunday, on holidays or during school breaks. You can check day pass availability online at TexasStateParks.ReserveAmerica.com.

Entrance fees: $8/adult; children 12 and under are free; no additional fees for park programs. Entry is free with a Texas State Parks Pass.

All programs are weather dependent -- if it rains, the Summit Trail and all elevated areas of the park are closed. Also, 'COVID-dependent.'
