Join Master Naturalist, Lorri, on an off-trail hiking adventure to the top of Little Rock Dome!

We'll be scrambling up the side of Little Rock starting in the campground and exploring this lesser visited section of the state natural area.

Little Rock Wander details:
Meet:  in the main campground parking lot between campsites 19 & 20.

Time:   About 1 1/2 hours.

Distance:   1-2 miles.

Difficulty:   Challenging

Elevation gain:   400 feet total.

Bring:

• Sturdy walking or hiking shoes
• Plenty of water
• Sunscreen
• Long pants strongly recommended
• Dress for the weather
• Please no children younger than 6 years old

NO PETS for this event. Pets are not allowed on the Summit Trail, rock domes or upper trails in the park.

IMPORTANT: Reservations are required to enter Enchanted Rock on weekends, holidays and/or during school breaks. You can check day pass availability and make reservations online.

Entrance fees: $8/adult; children 12 and under are free; no additional fees for this event. Entry is free with an active Texas State Parks Pass. No registration or additional fee required for this event. All are welcome!

All programs are weather dependent -- if it rains, the Summit Trail, rock domes & upper trails are closed.
