Join a park ranger or Master Naturalist as we hike to the top of Enchanted Rock.

Along the way, we'll learn about the geology, history and biology of this special place. We'll hear tales of derring-do and see sweeping panoramic views!

Guided Summit Hike details:
Meet at the Gazebo at the beginning of the Summit Trail.

Time: About 2 hours.
Distance: 1.5 miles round trip.
Elevation gain: 425 feet.

• Dress for the weather
• Day-pass or camping reservation (required to enter park on Saturdays).

IMPORTANT: Reservations are required to enter the state natural area Friday through Sunday, on weekends, holidays & any school breaks. You can check day-pass availability online at TexasStateParks.ReserveAmerica.com. For most weekends day-use permits sell out several weeks in advance -- you will need to plan ahead to visit us.

Entrance fees: $8/adult; children 12 and under are free; no additional fees for park programs. Entry is free with a Texas State Parks Pass.

All programs are weather dependent -- if it rains, the Summit Trail and all elevated trails and areas of the park are closed.
