Join us for a hike under the light of the moon! (RSVP required)

This hike will take us up the Summit Trail to the top of Enchanted Rock. 

IMPORTANT: You must RSVP with Ranger Jessica for this program. You can call the phone number listed or email via the email links in the contact section. She'll send more info about making park entrance reservations in a confirmation email.

Meet at the gazebo.

Time: Approximately 2.0 hours. 
Distance: 1.5 mile round trip. 
Difficulty: challenging 
Elevation gain: 425 feet. 

Bring

• Walking shoes 
• Flashlight (preferably with a red lens) 
• Drinking water 
• Insect repellant 
• Dress for the weather 

NO PETS are allowed on this hike. 

An RSVP to the listed contact is required to attend this program. We have a limited number of spaces available for our night programs.

Entrance fees: $8/adult; children 12 and under are free; no additional fees for park programs. Entry is free with a Texas State Parks Pass.

All programs are weather dependent -- if it rains, the Summit Trail and all elevated trails and areas of the park are closed. 

You MUST be at the start location at the posted start time to join in on this event. The Summit Trail and all elevated areas in the park close half an hour after Sunset unless you are with a Park Ranger.
